Creating Your First RFQ
Follow these simple steps to create your first RFQ on RFQmatch:
Step 1: Navigate to RFQ Creation
From your buyer dashboard, click "Create New RFQ" or visit Create RFQ page.
Step 2: Choose Your Creation Method
Select one of three options:
- Manual Creation - Fill out a detailed form
- Upload Document - Let AI extract information from your files
- Start from Template - Use a pre-built RFQ structure
Step 3: Fill in Basic Information
- RFQ Title - Clear, descriptive name
- Category - Industry classification
- Description - Detailed project overview
- Deadlines - Response and delivery dates
Step 4: Add Line Items
Specify what you need:
- Product descriptions with quantities and specifications
- Upload a CSV for bulk items
- Use AI to generate line items from your description
Step 5: Set Requirements
- Delivery location and terms
- Required certifications or qualifications
- Payment terms and conditions
- Any special requirements or preferences
Step 6: Upload Documents
Attach relevant files like:
- Technical specifications
- Drawings or designs
- Terms and conditions
- Reference documents
Step 7: Save as Draft or Publish
You can:
- Save as Draft - Continue editing later
- Publish - Make it visible to suppliers immediately
