What are credits and how do they work?

Updated January 12, 202691 views

Answer: Credits are the currency used on RFQmatch. Buyers need credits to publish RFQs, while suppliers need credits to respond to RFQs.

Credit System:

  • Buyer Credits: Used to publish RFQs and invite suppliers. View balance at Buyer Credits Dashboard
  • Supplier Credits: Used to respond to RFQs and submit quotes. View balance at Supplier Credits Dashboard

Credit Costs:

  • Publishing an RFQ: 5-10 credits (varies by complexity)
  • Responding to an RFQ: 2-5 credits per response
  • Featured listings: Additional credits for premium visibility

How Credits Work:

  1. Purchase credit packages
  2. Credits are deducted when you publish/respond
  3. Unused credits never expire
  4. Volume discounts available for bulk purchases
